We've been calling the Railway pub home since 2013, during which time we have completely updated the whole pub from cellar to kitchen to garden. With the goal of creating a haven for real ale junkies, foodies and families alike.
Now our large pretty garden with play area, two unspoiled bars, delicious local menu and accreditation by CamRA in the Good Beer Guide (2014, 2015) make us something of hidden treasure within our New Forest market town.
There is always a friendly face behind the bar and a choice of changing cask ales, craft beers and quality wines.
We serve our locally sourced menu all day, with a range of pub classics, handmade burgers, sandwiches, ploughmans and plenty of options for children too.
For families, our large garden boasts four play areas, smoke free seating and even a flock of chickens to keep your little ones busy. We have plenty of space to accommodate groups of walkers and cyclists using the Castleman Trailway or visiting the town.
The pub dates back to Victorian times and the now close Railway from which it gets its name, inside you will find many original features and fabulous photographs providing a snap shot to the pubs past. It's a heritage we are proud to be a part of and look forward to welcoming you to.
See you at the bar!
